Thank you for visiting HAAN’S KITCHEN! Our mission is to help you “Chop, Stir, Wow!” by delivering innovative kitchen gadgets right to your door. This Shipping Policy details how we get our products from our “Kitchen Gadgets That Make Cooking a Blast!” collection to you. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Processing Time
All orders are processed and prepared for shipment from our facility located at ‌118 Chillery Ave, Scarborough ON M1K 4T4, Canada‌. Orders placed on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays) before ‌12:00 PM Eastern Time‌ will typically be processed and handed off to the carrier within ‌1-2 business days‌. Orders placed after this time, or on weekends/holidays, will be processed on the next business day. This does not include shipping transit time. During promotional periods or major sales (e.g., Black Friday), processing times may be extended by 1-3 business days. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order has been shipped.

2. Shipping Destinations & Carriers
We currently ship to addresses within ‌Canada and the United States‌. Our primary shipping partners are Canada Post, UPS, and FedEx. The specific carrier and service level for your order will be selected based on your location, the shipping method chosen at checkout, and current service efficiency. You can view available shipping options and estimated delivery times during checkout. Expedited shipping options are available for most locations.

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order are calculated at checkout based on the following factors: ‌destination, package weight and dimensions, and the shipping speed you select.‌ You will see the exact shipping cost before finalizing your purchase.

  • Standard Shipping (Canada):‌ 5-10 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (Canada):‌ 3-7 business days
  • Standard Shipping (USA):‌ 7-14 business days
  • Expedited Shipping (USA):‌ 4-9 business days

Please note: These are estimates only. Transit times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, customs clearance (for US orders), or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

4. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) and a link to track your package on the carrier’s website. You can also log into your ‌“My account”‌ on our website to view the status and tracking information for all your orders. If 5 business days have passed since you received your shipment notification and the tracking information has not updated, please contact us at ‌necrosity@haanskitchen.com‌.

5. Shipping Address Accuracy
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address provided is complete and accurate. We ship to the address entered during checkout. Please double-check your address before confirming your order. We are ‌not responsible‌ for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping fees will apply.

6. P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO Addresses, and Remote Locations
We can ship to P.O. Boxes within Canada using Canada Post. For APO/FPO addresses and remote locations (e.g., rural areas, territories), delivery times may be significantly longer than the estimates provided. Additional surcharges may apply, which will be displayed at checkout.

7. International Orders (USA) & Customs
For orders shipped to the United States, please be aware:

  • All such shipments are subject to the import laws, regulations, and tariffs of the USA.
  • The recipient is considered the importer of record and is responsible for ‌all customs duties, import taxes (such as HST/GST), and brokerage fees‌ that may be levied once the shipment reaches the destination country.
  • These fees are not included in your item total or shipping charges paid to HAAN’S KITCHEN Inc. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
  • Customs clearance can sometimes cause delays beyond the original delivery estimate.

8. Shipment Damages & Loss

  • Damaged Upon Delivery:‌ If your package appears damaged when it arrives, please note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt or take a photo. Contact us at ‌necrosity@haanskitchen.com‌ within ‌48 hours‌ of delivery with your order number and photos so we can assist you in filing a claim with the carrier and resolving the issue promptly.
  • Lost in Transit:‌ If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors, your building’s front desk, or around your property. If the package is still missing, contact us within ‌7 days‌ of the marked delivery date. We will work with the carrier to initiate a trace and investigate.

9. In-Store Pickup
Currently, we do not offer in-store pickup at our Scarborough address. All orders are fulfilled through shipping.

10. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. The policy in effect on the date of your purchase will apply to your order. Changes will be posted on this page.
