This Refund and Returns Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds for purchases made on our website, www.haanskitchen.com. Please note: We do not offer “Refund Only” (returnless refunds) for any items. All refunds require the physical return of the product to our facility, subject to the conditions below.
1. Return & Refund Eligibility
- Timeframe: You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for a refund or exchange.
- Condition: The item must be in its original, unused, and resalable condition. This means:
- All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and undamaged.
- The product must show no signs of use, wear, or damage.
- All accessories, manuals, and free gifts originally included must be returned.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.
- Non-Returnable Items: For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned:
- Opened or used food storage containers, water bottles, or any items intended for direct food/consumable contact where the seal is broken.
- Personalized, custom-made, or monogrammed products.
- Gift cards.
- Items purchased during final sale or clearance promotions, which will be clearly marked as “Final Sale.”
2. The Return Process (Step-by-Step)
We do not process automatic refunds. To initiate a return, you must follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Within 30 days of delivery, email our customer service team at necrosity@haanskitchen.com with your order number and details about the product you wish to return. You may also call us at +1 519 645 7164.
- Receive Return Authorization (RMA): Our team will review your request. If eligible, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide a return shipping address. Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted.
- Package and Ship: Securely package the item in its original packaging. Include the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box. You are responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping until the item is received at our facility. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
- Inspection and Processing: Upon receipt at our warehouse (118 Chillery Ave, Scarborough ON M1K 4T4, Canada), our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets the “unused and resalable” condition criteria. This process typically takes 5-7 business days after the package is received.
3. Refund Terms (Upon Approval)
- Refund Method: Once your return is inspected and approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it is processed, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
- Deductions:
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective item).
- A restocking fee may be applied if an item is returned used, damaged, or missing components.
4. Exchange Policy
To exchange an item for a different size, color, or product:

- Clearly state in your initial email that you are requesting an exchange and specify the desired replacement item.

We will arrange for a prepaid return shipping label and, upon verification, process a full refund or replacement (including original shipping costs) at your discretion. This is the only exception where a prepaid return label may be provided.
6. International Returns & Duties
For orders shipped outside of Canada, any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees paid at delivery are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for any return shipping customs duties or taxes.
